A MAN was taken to hospital following a suspected electric shock from a cooker in Bromsgrove.
Emergency services were called to the scene in Elm Grove, just after 3pm this afternoon (Sunday, March 26).
A 55-year-old man was treated by West Midlands Ambulance Service for pain in his right arm.
Firefighters from Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service in Bromsgrove isolated the cooker as a precaution and the man was taken by land ambulance to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch for a check up.
A spokesman from Hereford and Worcester Fire & Rescue Service said: "A 55-year-old man suffered possible electric shock pain in his right arm so an ambulance was requested.
"The cooker was isolated just as a precaution. He was taken by land ambulance to the Alexandra Hospital."
