THE GP ‘walk-in’ access centre next to Asda in Hereford will close in August, with health chiefs announcing plans to improve GP services instead.
We asked those who took part in this week’s online poll, at herefordtimes.com, whether they agreed with the decision.
A total of 1,486 votes were cast in total with 57% of people saying they did not agree with the decision and were concerned that it could have an impact on the A&E department.
The remaining 43% said they did agree with the decision and said the resources should be re-invested into local GP practices where doctors have access to medical records.
