CCTV could help police track down the attackers of a Worcester bus driver.

Two men punched a driver of a First Bus and threw their bus fare at him on the number 35 in Lowesmoor after he told them to get off.

The men were reported to have been drinking and swearing before he asked them to leave.

The driver, a man in his 50s, was unhurt.

Police are looking for two men who boarded the bus close to the American Golf store as it travelled towards Rainbow Hill at 7.15pm on Saturday night.

Sarah East, head of operations for First Worcester said: "CCTV is an important fixture that helps us manage crime prevention.

"The bus involved in the incident on Saturday night had CCTV fitted and the footage will be shared with the Police for them to undertake their enquiries and gather evidence.

"All new buses that we have introduced over the last 10 years have CCTV fitted as standard which helps with providing a safe environment for people to travel in."
