A POPULAR firework display is appealing for donations so that the event can go ahead.
Brickfields Fireworks was run by volunteers for the first time last year after Worcester Community Trust said it could no longer run the display.
Jason Holder, one of the committee members said: "We do need a few more donations to help the event go ahead. Any support would be much appreciated.
"We have raised loads so far but need help from the public and local businesses so this free event can go ahead."
The display will take place on Thursday November 2 at the King George V playing fields starting at 6pm.
Thousands of people usually watch the fireworks on the playing fields.
