FOLLOWING her X Factor debut zany Worcester drag act Ginny Lemon is set to "freak out" audiences at a Worcester pub.

The Kings Head, Sidbury, is holding a free Halloween Horror Ball this Saturday, hosted by Ginny with DJ Gaunty spinning funky beats.

The owners are also celebrating their 10th anniversary at the pub.

Ginny said: "I am delighted to be hosting this spooktastic event.

"I shall endeavour to spook people, freak them out and disturb them at every possible chance.

"With my original music I will be casting a hypnotic spell to enchant the audience."

She added: "I shall be dressing in my finest witch’s robe - why dress like anyone else when I'm the spookiest of them all?"

Earlier this month, Ginny failed to get through to the boot camp stage of the show after battling it out as one of 124 acts at Wembley Arena.

After judges failed to put him through, she shouted: "Bitter Lemon" at judges Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, Nicole Scherzinger and Louis Walsh.

Ginny had previously scooped four yeses from the judges following a wild performance of Liberty X's Just A Little Bit with a considerable amount of gyrating.

Ginny, who has the signature catchphrase 'fancy a slice?', burst onto screens in September saying - "I'm from Worcester- just like the sauce", during auditions held at Thorpe Park in Surrey, Greater London.

Speaking on the result, the performer, believed to be Lewis Croucher, who is billed on X-Factor as a-28-year-old human resources worker, previously told the Worcester News: "By time I got my four yeses it was 2.30am so I was more excited to take my make-up off and get into bed but it wasn't until the morning I woke up in sheer panic thinking 'What the hell am I going to wear for bootcamp?'

"I am so excited to meet all the other weird and wacky contestants and maybe even a few normal ones too. I can't say too much but believe you me, there is plenty of gin, tears and drama."

Previously, his act came second in Miss Drag Idol UK after being pipped to the post by performer Tracy Barlow.
