FIVE district schools performed in Artrix's Youth Mental Health Arts Festival.
Young people from Dodford First School, Alvechurch Middle School, Holywell Primary School, Hunters Hill College, North Bromsgrove High and members of Artrix's Youth Theatre performed across two evenings in May.
The festival, named 'Disorder', featured plays, readings, film and dance, devised by young people for young people on the theme of mental health.
Artrix's senior Youth Theatre performed Cloud Busting on the first evening, followed by a new film by the junior group entitled Pressure - exploring the day-to-day struggled young people face.
Schools involved in the second evening took part in a 10-minute performance, before a screening of Private Request, a short film exploring child sexual exploration.
The work was funded by John Campion, West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner and a National Lottery Awards grant.
