A LOOK back at the industrial heritage of the area will form the backdrop of a special Cradley church service being held as part of this weekend’s Black Country Festival.
On Sunday (July 15), local historian Margaret Bradley will lead the service at Overend Methodist Church, which will celebrate the region’s heritage.
Taking part in the event will be descendants of people involved in mining, nail making, chain making, anchor making, brick making and crystal glass.
All are welcome to the service, which starts at 6pm at the Banner’s Lane church.
