WEEKS of dry weather came to an end this afternoon when thunderstorms crossed Worcestershire.
The rain will almost certainly come as a relief to gardeners and farmers, and it is hoped it will bring back a little colour to grassy areas that have been looking increasingly parched as the heatwave ground on.
However, the rain is forecast to gradually die away this evening to leave a dry night with some clear spells for many.
Saturday will be fine and dry with good spells of sunshine, with some fair weather cloud bubbling up during the day. Feeling very warm in the sunshine, with light winds.
Sunday and Monday will also be warm and sunny, but there is a greater chance of showers later.
