BRITISH Bespoke Auctions in Winchcombe had a strong start to 2018.
The star of the show was a 5ct Burmese Sapphire & Diamond Ring - with an estimate of £5,000 to £6,000, with fierce competition from the internet, it eventually sold to a telephone bidder for £9,800.
Similarly a 3ct Diamond Solitaire Ring with an estimate of £5,000 of £6,000 sold to a private buyer in the room for a dazzling £7,000.
Also in the sale an antique 5ct Ceylon Sapphire Diamond Bracelet sold to the Internet for £3,400 against a guide price of £1,800 to £2,200.
A fashionable Art Deco Salt Water Pearl and Diamond Ring sold for £2,400 to the internet, making more than its top estimate of £1,800 to £2,200.
Now consigning for the next sale on Thursday March 22, Bespoke Auctions hold valuation days every Friday from 9.30am until 4.30pm and the second Saturday in every month from 11.00am to 3.30pm.
