BOUNCY castle fans will be jumping for joy when an inflatable theme park springs up in Hereford.

The Inflatable Theme Park, run by businessman Angus Pedrick, will bounce onto Hereford's Racecourse site over the next two weekends.

It is the first time the unusual attraction - which boasts some of England's biggest bouncy castles - has been held in Hereford, and Mr Pedrick promises the event will be "amazing".

He said: "It is something that all the kids and adults when they see it are absolutely mesmerised by - they can't quite believe it when they see it, the sheer size of it.

"It is literally like an inflatable village or town, it's enormous. It will be exciting."

Mr Pedrick, from Stroud, has taken the Inflatable Theme Park around the country and said he decided to come to Hereford by popular request.

At the theme park, youngsters can play on a 50ft high inflatable slide, an 100ft long Noah's Ark, a 35ft high helter-skelter - and much more.

The attraction will officially open on Saturday, April 21, and will run all weekend. It will re-open on the following Saturday, April 28 until Sunday, April 29.

Only children aged between two and 14 are allowed on the rides, but accompanying adults get free entry.

The cost is £8 for an all-day wristband, which allows access onto all the inflatables.
