RELATE Worcestershire, in partnership with Kidderminster Library, is delivering its next ‘Taking Charge of Your Life’ for those feeling stressed or in need of a confidence boost.

The course will start on Thursday, June 11, from 9am to 1.15pm and will run weekly for five weeks. It will take place at the Kidderminster Library in Market Street.

Karen McVeigh, training manager from Relate Worcestershire, said: “This is the second year we have run ‘Taking Charge of Your Life’, following on from the four successful courses we have already run.

“The course aims to help people find ways of acting assertively and enable them to understand aspects of their lives they may be finding hard to manage.

“It will help individuals learn how to communicate effectively, build self-esteem, self-confidence and assertiveness, learn how to deal with stress and how to manage their time.

“It will also focus on employment skills and other training opportunities and provide a variety of tools to enable individuals to take their next steps into a positive future.”
