A PERSON had to be rescued by firefighters this morning (Saturday, February 10) after a severe fire swept through a house in Kidderminster.
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews from across the region teamed up to tackle the blaze at the property in Mill Lane.
Crews from Kidderminster, Bewdley, Stourport and Worcester fire stations were alerted to the fire – which took place on the second floor of the house – at about 4.16am.
It is not yet known if anyone was injured due to the fire, or the condition of the person who was rescued.
