THERE was a chance for the generations to meet when a residential home in Tenbury opened its doors for a coffee morning and a social event.
More than 80 years separated one of the oldest residents from one of the youngest visitors but the generation gap did not seem to matter to 86 year old resident Barbara Martin or to five month old Betty Crowther.
The residential home encourages people from the outside community to take an interest and it also provides people from the town the chance to see what goes on in the Old Rectory.
Romance also came to the home earlier this year when the residential home staged a coffee morning to mark St Valentine’s Day.
The home has residents from Tenbury and the Teme Valley.
