Year three pupils recently received a personal invite to visit Mr Derek Walker's spetacular cottage garden and woodland walk at Astley, Stourport. The garden attracts more than 1,000 visitors each year so our pupils were very privileged to be given a private showing. As a follow up to our visit pupils wrote to thank Mr Walker for his hospitality.

Our early morning breakfast club is now up and running. The children who currently attend recently voted to call themselves The Burlish Early Birds'.

Tuesday 18th March was the Ready Steady Sing concert at the Town Hall in Kidderminster. Altogether there were three schools taking part Burlish Park, St Georges and St Johns from Kidderminster.

On 17th March Ronnie, a lady from VSO (voluntary services overseas) came to visit our school. She first spoke to us in our morning assembly about all the things she had seen and done in Africa.
