A WHIRLWIND showcase of four of England's most-loved plays has raised £207 for charity.
Pupils at Holy Trinity School, Kidderminster, spent five weeks rehearsing lines and getting into character for An Evening with William Shakespeare.
In front of an audience of parents, a cast of 100 youngsters from Holy Trinity's all-girl senior school switched effortlessly between four of The Bard's most famous works.
Over two nights, the budding thespians collected money for Kemp Hospice, which supports people coping with life-limiting illnesses.
In the space of two hours each evening, pupils acted out shortened versions of Macbeth, Much Ado About Nothing, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Romeo and Juliet at the Birmingham Road school.
The "Evening With .." event has become an annual fixture since being started by Mike Dunnington, head of drama and assistant headteacher.

GCSE and A-level drama students performed plays by Oscar Wilde last year and George Bernard Shaw in 2006.
Mr Dunnington said the fund-raiser was part of a new "partnership" between the hospice and the school.
