YOUNGSTERS from two Bewdley primary schools have been using their creative skills to decorate Bewdley's riverside for the Discover Bewdley Weekend.
Pupils of Bewdley Primary School will design 12 large colourful banners with a heritage theme, while St Anne's CE Primary School pupils will make more than 90 fish windsocks out of recycled plastic bags.
They have been working with local artists, Kate and Jo De Burgh, who run creative art workshops for children, based on the environment and looking after the planet.

The children will display their work along Severnside South during the event on Sunday and Monday, May 4 and 5.
Paul Roper, headteacher at Bewdley Primary School, said: "The children have really enjoyed making the banners and have certainly learned a lot more about the history of the town.
"They are all really colourful and lively. We are delighted that they will be on display over the weekend."
Miranda Sowden, event co-ordinator for Bewdley Development Trust, said the artwork would add to the festive look and feel of the town.
She added: "There will be a huge amount of activity throughout the town during the Discover Bewdley Weekend."
Events for the weekend include a riverside parade, tightrope act, street theatre and live music.
