Celebration of Inclusive Sport

The Wyre Forest School Sport Partnership held its first Celebration of Inclusive Sport' event at Glades Leisure Centre on Wednesday 16th April. This inaugural event was open to all young people in Wyre Forest schools that were on the special educational needs register or had a physical disability.

Basketball finals
4:51pm Thursday 24th April 2008
Wednesday 30th March saw the finals of a series of School Sport Partnership Basketball taking place for Herefordshire & Worcestershire pupils. Year 10 pupils from North Bromsgrove High School, Blessed Edwards, The Chase and Wolverley schools have all won their School Sport Partnership leagues which have been taking place for the first time this academic year. The leagues were coordinated by Heads of P.E, Partnership Development Managers and the Competition Manager team and saw pupils take part in structured more regular competition.

Heads of Department Development Day

On Friday 1st February, Heads of PE in the Wyre Forest School Sports Partnership attended the first ever Heads of Department Development Day.

KS4 G & T Badminton
12:12pm Tuesday 15th April 2008
On Wednesday 23rd January, 16 pupils from King Charles, Bewdley, Hagley RC and Haybridge High Schools took part in a KS4 G & T Badminton festival held at Haybridge High School.

Girls ‘Give it a Go’ festival

Girls from King Charles, Bewdley, Baxter College, Stourprt, Wolverley, Hagley and Haybridge High Schools all took part in a Girls Give it a Go' festival held at the Glades Leisure Centre on Friday 14th December.

Partnership Day
12:10pm Tuesday 15th April 2008
Friday 18th January saw representatives from all schools in the Wyre Forest School Sports Partnership attend the second Partnership Day of the academic year.

KS2 Xtreme and KS3 Girls Climbing Festivals
12:08pm Tuesday 15th April 2008
On Friday 11th January over 110 pupils from Bewdley, Far Forest, St Anne's, Blakedown, Foley Park, Franche, St John's, Wolverley, Sutton Park, Hagley, Comberton, Heronswood, Offmore, St George's, Burlish Park and Hartlebury Primary Schools took part in a KS2 Xtreme Festival at the Glades Leisure Centre.

Jumping Jaxx

Jumping Jaxx, a structured physical activity programme at lunchtime , is really taking off in the Wyre Forest.

Monday 5th November saw the start of the Wyre Forest Festival Week.

Young Ambassadors

The Wyre Forest School Sport Partnership is very fortunate to have two new Young Ambassadors for this academic year.
