Festival Week

Monday 5th November saw the start of the Wyre Forest Festival Week.

Organised and run by Vicci Webley, Hereford and Worcestershire's Senior Competition Manager, and Corinna Lewis, Wyre Forest Sports Development, Festival Week is aimed at involving pupils, who do not normally represent their school in competition.

There were three events held during Festival Week-a Hockey Tournament for Years 7, 8 and 9 on Tuesday 6th November at Stourport Hockey Club, an indoor athletics event for U11s, U13s, and U15s on Wednesday 7th November at the Glades Leisure Centre and a Trampolining Festival forYears 10 and 11 on Thursday 8th November at Haybridge High School.

Many thanks to Stourport Hockey Club, who supported the Hockey Tournament and Hagley High Flyers, who supported the Trampolining Festival. A total of 256 children took part in activities during the week.
