Girls from King Charles, Bewdley, Baxter College, Stourprt, Wolverley, Hagley and Haybridge High Schools all took part in a Girls Give it a Go' festival held at the Glades Leisure Centre on Friday 14th December.
The festival was designed to encourage girls who do not usually participate in out of school hours activities and/or find engaging in physical activities difficult or challenging.
In total, 45 girls were invited to the festival, where they were given the opportunity to have taster sessions in fencing, street dance, skipping and flexi-bar. All the girls who
attended the festival joined in with the activities and enjoyed themselves.

A celebration event is planned for the summer, to reward those girls who have maintained their participation levels since the festival.
