AN AWARD-winning Stourport fund-raiser has organised another night of glamour in memory of her beloved aunt.

Hayley Jordan has arranged The Glitz & Glamour Races, which will take place at the Mercure Hotel near Bewdley on Saturday, October 22, to raise money for Mind, Midlands Air Ambulance and RSPCA Birmingham Animal Hospital.

She has organised the glamorous evening to honour her aunt Joanne Yates, who sadly took her own life while suffering from depression on December 27, 2014.

This is the second such event and follows a hugely successful one held in October last year that saw Hayley, who works at HSBC in Stourbridge, raise a total of £9,239 for the three charities.

Her efforts saw her win first prize in the ‘Volunteer of the Year’ category at the Wonderful Worcestershire Women Awards earlier this year.

This year’s event is an Ascot themed race night and will include races, a two course sit down meal, photo booth and a live band and is raising money for the same three charities.

Hayley said: “The money raised will be split again between the same three charities as last year.

“I’ve worked hard to gain some amazing race sponsors, who have donated some incredible prizes for the evening. And I’m over the moon to have TECHTEAM, an Ombersley based company, as the overall evenings sponsor.

“If last year's ball was anything to go by, 'The Glitz & Glamour Races' is a definite event to have in your diary and a night to remember.

“I’m thankful to everyone who has bought tickets already. There are still a limited amount of tickets still available, due to be taken off sale at the end of the month.

Tickets are on sale now for £32.50 and anyone interested can contact Hayley on hayley_beddard@yahoo.co.uk for further details.
