A KIND-hearted worker from a Stourport-based charity took on a daunting trek across Europe to help raise hundreds of pounds for the good cause.
Mentor Link finance officer Zoe Elkin and her partner Colin Sanders collected £731 after taking part in the Fireball Rally.
The pair started in Calais and drove over 2000 miles through eight European countries in just four days.
Money raised was donated to the children’s charity which supports distressed and vulnerable children by providing them with an independent mentor for one to one support each week.
The mentoring service aims to improve children’s self-esteem, well-being and engagement in learning and provides the service to a number of local schools.
