ELVES from Stourport High School visited local elderly residents to deliver a record number of Christmas hampers.
The hampers are created by the Minster Road school students in their tutor groups and prizes are awarded to the top three hampers.
Coniston Coaches offered the school the use of their minibus for free so the students could visit elderly residents in Stourport to deliver the hampers to spread a little festive cheer.
A spokesman for the school said: "The Christmas hampers are always well received by local elderly residents and we receive many letters and telephone calls of thanks from the recipients."
