STAFF at a Stourport nursery are celebrating after receiving a 'good' rating in their latest OFSTED inspection.

Inspectors visited Tiny Toez at Lords and Ladies, in Lower Lickhill Road, in July and rated the nursery as 'good' in all areas.

The report stated that the staff build effective relationships with the children - giving them verbal reassurance, smiles, praise and play alongside them and share their ideas.

It added: "The management team regularly seeks the views of parents, children, staff and the local authority advisors, including those who support children who have special educational needs and/or disabilities.

"Staff keep parents well informed about their child's next steps in their learning.

"Staff provide children with exciting exploratory experiences that encourage children's engagement and focused attention."

Angharad Rees, nursery manager, said: "I am extremely proud of all my team and the dedication and passion they show daily.

"The children really do have amazing experiences."

The nursery has been told it can improve further by encouraging children who speak English as an additional language to use their home language during their play ever further, and to encourage staff to consistently build on what children need to learn next to help them achieve as much as possible in their learning.
