A MOTORIST was cut free from a car and taken to hospital today (February 20) following a crash in Stourport.

Two vehicles crashed on Windermere Way at around 10.40am this morning.

Paramedics gave pain relief to a woman suffering back and leg pain, who was in one of the cars.

Fire crews from Stourport and Kidderminster were called to the scene and cut the roof off one of the vehicles to release her.

She was then taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further treatment.

West Mercia Police deployed traffic management while the incident was being dealt with.
