TWO assaults on people walking alone could be linked, according to the police.
A 31-year-old woman was walking in Arne Walk, Blackheath, at 7.50pm on Thursday, December 7, when she saw a man looking at houses.
He approached her from behind and lifted up her skirt. As she screamed, he ran off.
Earlier that day, a 20-year-old man had been walking along Belmont Hill, Lewisham, at 2am.
Realising someone was behind him he stopped to let them past, but when he got outside the bowling alley, the man reappeared and offered him money to perform a lewd sexual act.
When he laughed and told him to go away, he was hit on the head. The man ran off.
Police believe the assaults could be linked, due to their proximity.
Both victims described the man as black, in his late teens and wearing a blue padded jacket.
