MY husband and I went to Kidderminster Hospital for an appointment. Having had drops put in his eyes, we knew he wouldn’t be able to drive and arrangements were made for us to call our son when the appointment was over.
To our dismay, we discovered the hospital doesn’t have a working public telephone. We were told that it hasn’t been working for ages and noone is sure if it is ever going to be repaired. We had to make other arrangements but this is a ridiculous situation. Not all of us have mobiles.
What are we supposed to do?
We think other patients should be warned.
