MORE than 100 youngsters at a Kidderminster school told the nativity story with a twist as a little drummer boy led the way to the stable.

Toby's Christmas Drum was performed by two reception classes and two classes of year one children at St John’s CE Primary School.

The classes were divided into drummers, angels, villagers and the nativity scene and the production included singing, dancing and drama.

Foundation stage leader Lorna Noon said: “These are very young children and they all took their parts well, to the delight of their parents and other family members, older pupils and staff.”

Year two children put on a Christmas show called Children of the World and years three and four staged a carol concert.
