YOUNGSTERS were rewarded for their involvement in a series of successful school and community based activities.
They scooped achievement certificates and prizes during a presentation evening for taking part in projects, which included junior neighbourhood watch schemes and a Wyre Forest Young Citizens Challenge - won by St Ambrose Catholic Primary School.
The activities were coordinated by West Mercia Police in collaboration with The ContinU Trust’s Opening Doors Programme.
Michael Conroy Harris, from The ContinU Trust’s programme, said: “There is a lot of rewarding partnership work happening locally.
“When you link that with young people’s energy you can bring about some really positive outcomes – like we have seen in these projects. When partnerships share contacts and goodwill we can achieve a lot together.”
