BBC appeal for Stroke Association

The Stroke Association is to be the beneficiary of Radio 4’s charity appeal broadcasting tomorrow, August 17.

The appeal is being presented by Prunella Scales who is a long term ambassador of The Stroke Association. “I was delighted to help The Stroke Association with their appeal and hope that it will raise vital funds along with increasing awareness of the condition.”

Every five minutes someone in the UK has a stroke and it is hoped that the appeal will reach out to people across the country and let them know that The Stroke Association is there to help all those affected by stroke along with their families and carers.

The appeal will be broadcast tomorrow at 7.55am and 9.26pm and again on Thursday August 21 at 3.27pm. It can also be listened to again on the BBC i Player.
