This week sees the release of the first in a series of classic Capcom arcade games on the Nintendo Wii. Available to download right now are Commando: Wolf of the Battlefield and SONSON.
Commando: Wolf of the Battlefield lets gamers take control of Super Hoe and shoot their way towards the enemy’s territory, utilizing grenades to create carnage with enemy placements.
SONSON is something entirely different, this 1984 rarity allows gamers to experience the original adventures of the Monkey King in an action-packed side scrolling adventure.
If neither of these are quite your bag then how about the releases of Ghosts’ n Goblins and Exed Exes on January 7th, and the seminal 1942 and Black Tiger on January 21st?
If you want to go truly old school this Christmas, then this is the way to go about it.
