This weekend is the chance for some proper Jeep action

Everyone loves seeing a good jeep, from the war movies to the new multi-million adverts, they always have a certain style that no matter how hard they try other car companies cannot ape.

Well, if Jeeps are your type of thing this is the weekend that you can get behind the wheel and take one for an off-road spin.

The National Jeep Trials have been taking place at a select few number of venues across the UK and this weekend it’s coming to Derbyshire as Priest House plays host on Saturday and Sunday.

A spokesman for Jeep said: "The event makes for a great day out for all the family and offers attendees  to drive some of the UK's most adventurous off-road tracks.

"Visitors can indulge their passion for the great outdoors with a variety of Jeep experiences such as archery, clay pigeon shooting and falconry.

"And if anyone feels a little peckish there is also a delicious BBQ feast. Or for those who are after a quieter day out, perhaps just kick-back and relax with a massage."

She added: "Even the kids can enjoy their very own Jeep experience with face painting, games and a chance for them to try out their archery and falconry skills too. So it really is something for everyone."
