KVCC to hold taster sessions

YOUNGSTERS keen to learn the game of cricket are being invited to two free taster sessions run by Kidderminster Victoria Cricket Club.

The offer is being made to launch the club’s junior section winter nets which begin this month.

Boys and girls from under nine to under 16 are welcome to try out two indoor sessions which start at Winterfold School on Monday November 12 for U11-U16 and at Wolverley High School on Wednesday November 14 for U9/U10.

Both sessions run from 6pm to 8pm and go through to April when outdoor summer training begins at the club’s Chester Road ground on Mondays. The normal charge is £3 per session.

KVCCs junior section enters teams in competitive leagues and cup competitions at all age groups from U10 to U17 and enters U9s in an annual softball four-leg tournament.

All coaches are ECB qualified and are CRB checked. For more details contact Mark Bennett on 07876 323538.
