ATHLETICS: A small dedicated group of Kidderminster and Stourport AC athletes took part in the Midland County Championships at the Alexander Stadium.
They collected five medals between them and seven personal bests.
Georgie Knott, who competed in the under-13s, won a bronze in the quadathron — jumping a personal best in the high jump with a leap of 1.25 metres.
Katie Lambert won a gold in the under-15s hammer with a personal best throw of 39.37m and also obtained a bronze medal in the javelin (26.50m).
Her brother Jack competed in the under-13s boys quadathron with personal bests in the high and long jumps.
Cara Clarke set personal bests in the long jumping (4.82m) and 75m hurdles (14.02s).
There were PBs for sister Brooke as she won silver in the discus (21.49m) and bronze in the long jump (4.89m).
