MARTIAL ARTS: A member of Bewdley’s TAGB Tae Kwon-Do club won her first title at the World Championships.
Kate Mason stormed through the ladies yellow belt heavyweight sparring division to win gold.
More than 3,000 competitors from the USA, Hong Kong, South Africa and Australia descended on the Skydome in Coventry to take part.
The tournament was also attended by Grand Master CK Choi, one of the oldest surviving founders of the martial art.
