A TRIO of students from Offmore Primary School’s after-class jiu jitsu club won three bronze medals at the Gloucestershire Kumite Sport Championships.
The event had over 300 fighters from all of the UK’s Tai Jutsu Kai clubs.
But the Wyre Forest trio more than held their own against some of the best in the country.
Jaidan Tiene in the under-50 kilogram weight section, Ruby Wilson (U45kg) and and Isabelle Gibbons (U40kg) all excelled to earn silverware.
The threesome train with sensei Robert Tiene every Friday at the school and the classes have proven to be popular with the students and parents alike.
