BEWDLEY Town have set their sights on a top-ten finish in the West Midlands Premier after a good week.
The Ribbesford Meadow side made it eight wins in nine games with a 4-1 victory at Willenhall last Wednesday and a 3-0 triumph against Wolverhampton Sporting Community on Saturday.
In a further boost, Bartley Green’s results were expunged after they pulled out of the West Midlands Premier because of financial issues.
Bewdley had only played the Birmingham side once and lost, but many of the teams above Town saw points removed.
Joint manager Craig Payton said: “We’re in very good form at the moment and we think we can finish in the top ten.”
Against Willenhall, Chris Hough (2), Dan Gittens and Richard Costello scored to seal the points.
Hough scored again against Wolverhampton, while Lee Williamson and Alex Lavery also hit the back of the net.
Town entertain title-chasing Lye on Saturday (3pm) and Bilston on Tuesday (7.45pm).
