STOURPORT Ladies seconds got the better of Beeston’s third team 3-0 on Saturday.

Jodi Vincent opened the scoring with a firmly struck effort.

Stourport kept their heads and Fran Moss converted a cross from Liz Warne to double the Wyre Forest side’s lead.

The Beeston keeper was determined to thwart the efforts of the Stourport attack but the final goal eventually came in the second half from a well worked deflection from Kerry Walker. Player of the match was Leanne Bennett.

The thirds were out gunned by Tenbury, who ran out 5-0 winners.

Tenbury capitalised on their fast breakaways.

In contrast the young Stourport side, who have developed considerably across the season, battled for the entire match but were unable to convert any chances created into goals. Player of the match was Tilda Darling.

Meanwhile, the fourths edged out Harborne 2-1.

A first half brace for Kate Bailey sealed the win.

Holly Baron was player of the match for Stourport, who finished third in Worcestershire Division Two.

The sixths filled their boots as they defeated Old Hales 5-0.

Stourport took an early lead with a goal from a short corner by Fran Baron.

Stourport furthered their lead with two strikes from Rosie Connolly.

The second half saw Old Hales make a break but 40-year birthday girl Gemma Taylor-Robinson made her one and only save of the game.

Stourport finished the stronger with Rosie Connolly bagging another two goals.
