KIDDERMINSTER and Stourport AC’s young athletes were in good form at the Youth District Track and Field League in Leamington.

James Milburn was in great form and he won the U15s high jump (1.59 metres), long jump (5.02m) and discus (25.47m).

Olivia Jones won the girls’ high jump event clearing 1.42m with Ellie England taking second place in the B (1.20m), Eddie Roberts was first in the long jump B (4.46m).

KSAC scored another double in the U13 shot, Jack Lambert winning with a throw of 8.39m while Chris Telling won the B (4.70m).

Greg Knight took first in the disucss B (22.32m).

There were also wins for Ella diMambro in the U15 discus (20.68m) and Jess Surridge in the U15 hammer (17.76m). In the U13 long jump, Jack Lambert was second (3.77m) and Georgia Lees sixth (3.19m), while England jumped 4.36m to take third in the U15 long jump.

Lambert clinched second in the javelin (21.93m) and Knight was also second at U15 (29.26m), as was Surridge with a throw of 16.79m.

In the U13 shot, there were third places for Sophie diMambro (5.57m) and Tom Palmer (6.15m).

On the track, Ethan Hanson won the U13s 200m (28.3s) and was second in the 100m (14s), while Telling took second in the B (31.7s).

DiMambro was fourth in the U15 200m( 28.9s) with England winning the B (29s) and taking fourth in the 100m.

In the 200m, Josh Haines was fourth (27.7s) and Knight was second in the B (28.3s). Lees clinched the U13 800m (2.35.8) and Telling took third in the 1500m (5.27.2).
