THERE’S no change at the top of Division One the Kidderminster and District Midweek Bowling League with the leaders Franche gaining a win at Bewdley.

Second-placed St Johns A got the better of Kinver B at Crowther Road.

In Division Two, Franche D are in the leadership position after a home victory over Royal Mail while Cookley A suffered a surprising 53 shots defeat at Oldington.

It was a very close home derby at Bewdley with the C team the victors by nine shots.

Oldington C retain their pole position in Division Three but they had a tough game against Stourport C, the match ended in a draw.

Cookley B pulled off a victory on their home green beating St Ambrose RO A by 73 chalks.

There were some close matches in Division Four; Carolians managed to snatch a win from Ombersley by six shots while at Kinver, Franche C fought hard to topple the league leaders.

Kinver went into the doubles with a 22 shot lead and after two highly-contested games eventually won by eight shots Franche remain in good form at the top Division One of the Thursday Midweek League with a 36 shots win at home similarly with St Johns OB A who beat Bewdley A by 36 points.

Wolverley lost out to Cookley B by seven shots on their home green.

There was a terrific match at Carolians with the game against Franche B in Division Two with the game ending in a draw.

League leaders Bewdley B lost their game at Little Lakes by eight shots.
