SEVENTY cyclists are set to tackle the Kidderminster Killer endurance race on Saturday.

Starting from Belbroughton, audax event will take riders on a tortuously difficult route to Mid-Wales and back within 14 hours.

They will face around 4,000 metres of ascent on some of the most challenging hills in the region. Meanwhile, another 70 cyclists will also be taking part in the shorter ‘Clee to Heaven’ audax on a circuit around the Clee Hills, completing a 120 kilometre circuit with 2,000m within eight hours .

The events are being organised by the Beacon Roads Cycling Club, will see some of Britain’s best amateur endurance cyclists taking part.
