A BUMPER field of 20 teams contested the PGA Alliance held at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club.

Rob Winnall, playing along side club captain Jon Gaskell, Ian Dorrell and Tom Pain, shot 37 points to finish fourth in the individual amateur prizes.

Tom Pain continued his good form in the winter alliances with 38 points to finish third, but he was to be outdone by the new rising star at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club, Amy Millward.

Millward outclassed the field on her way to 38 points to win on countback and claim her first win at Cleobury since joining at the beginning of September.

She said: “ I really enjoyed it out there today with my team, to come out on top with such a big field feels great and I can’t wait until the next event on December 18.

“I’ve worked hard on my game over the last few weeks, so it’s great to see it coming together.”
