WHILE many will be suffering from the excesses of Christmas, the Point-to-Point community will see little change to their plans as the participants prepare for the Harkaway Club fixture at Chaddesley Corbett next Monday.
The meeting attracted 200 entries, with the first race scheduled for 10.30am to accommodate any potential divisions later in the day.
That seems as wise decision, with the Non-Rules Maiden and the Club Maiden attracting 39 and 35 entries.
Khyber Kim reached the very top under National Hunt Rules, running in the Champion Hurdle at several Cheltenham Festivals, before winning his first two races between the flags.
He proved far from ideal for his inexperienced rider and is now in the care of Phillip Rowley at Morville.
A change of pilot could be crucial to future success and they are likely to prove far too speedy for their rivals in the Club Members Conditions.
Raydini has been plying his trade in Irish Point-to-Points but is now based with Jane William’s at Enville, who has taken over the training responsibilities from her mother Diana.
