WYRE Forest Phoenix Ladies were five alive, as they defeated Ludlow Ladies 5-0 in the Midwest Counties Female Football League.

Phoenix had held on for 30 minutes before Coventry made the breakthrough.

The under-14s Flyers won a thrilling game after they edged out Withymore Colts 3-2 as Erin Price, Megan Morris and Sydney Harris hit the back of the net.

Meanwhile, there was a 3-1 loss for the under-18s at the hands of Wyrley Pumas.

Despite a goal from Isabella Zaffino and another from player of the match Molly Brookes, they still lost 3-1.
