BEWDLEY Town boss Phil Mullen is determined not to let the remainder rest of the West Midland League season fall away.
With ten 10 games remaining Mullen maintained: “There’s no reason why we can’t win all of them providing we get a full compliment of players to support us.
“I want to get something out of this season and I reiterated that to the players this week. I want to make sure we finish the season on a high!."
Bewdley suffered a 2-0 beating by Wolves Sporting Community last Saturday following a return to action at Ribbesford Meadow.
Goals either side of half time from Jake Keyworth and Arnold Chimbonda did the damage, while Bewdley went close on a number of occasions and struck the woodwork twice.
Mullen wasn’t too downhearted with the result and insisted: “It could have gone either way. They took their chances and we didn’t take ours. Although we were missing a couple of key players, we still had enough ammunition to have won the game.”
Bewdley travel to second next-to-bottom Cradley Town this Saturday where Mullen can welcome back Jason Wellings, but remains without the absent Alex Lavery.
