GIFTED teenage golf star Emily Price enhanced her reputation as one of the country's brightest prospects with an eye-catching performance at the Scottish Girls Open Championships.

The Cleobury golfer scored one under par over the two day par 72 course which helped the England team see off Wales and the hosts.

In the individual event there was over 12 girls from all the best players in Europe but Price was just one of four to record an under par score as shed secured a solid third place behind England’s Holy Muse and Scotland’s Shannon McWilliams.

At Cleobury Mortimer's Easter Open, the team of Graham Butcher, Dave Gordon, Eduardo Nascimento and Grant Carbines won with a nett score of 58.6.

The Pro Shop’s own Amy Millward secured a good score of 58.6 nett with her team of John Westley, Glen Tramaseur and Tony Willetts, which secured them third place.

Last year's winning team which consisted of Gary Mann, Martin Bower, Aaron Booton and Nigel Williams continued their good form as a team and secured second place with 58.3 nett.
