BEWDLEY Town are hoping to welcome back several players for Saturday’s clash against Dudley Town.

The Ribbesford Meadow side are expecting Ben Pearsall and Ed Flory to return to the fray for the bottom half of the table clash at The Dell.

A weakened Town side were held to a 1-1 draw by The Robins on Tuesday night.

Luke Morris had fired them ahead when Bewdley were on top but the Black Country outfit got back into the game after the break, took control and bagged a leveller.

Manager Phil Mullen said: “We were hanging on a bit in the second half and I must say Dudley look a good side.

“We’ve got them away on Saturday so both sides now know each other well and I am not sure whom that favours.

“But we’ve got a few players back and we’ll certainly be stronger than on Tuesday night. We’ve not been able to had a full-strength squad for consecutive games this season but we’re managing get teams out.”

Town also suffered a 1-0 loss at home to Bilston Community.

Bewdley are 15th in the table with six games of the season left in the West Midlands Premier.

After Dudley, Bewdley entertain Shifnal next Tuesday (7.45pm ko).

They then complete their away league campaign at Haughmond on April 25, before three home games against Ellesmere Rangers, Smethwick Rangers and Wellington Amateurs.

The club are also hosting their race night tomorrow at the Aggborough Suite at Kidderminster Harriers.

Tickets are £7, which will include chicken and chips in a basket.
