A SUPERB intelligent spell of bowling from Danny Soley ripped through Coombs Wood as they table-topping Cookley recorded an eight wicket win in Worcestershire Division Two.

Soley took six wickets for 46 runs as Wood were dismissed for 116.

Jaimen Rudd then top scored with 41 not out, well supported by Kheinan Morrissey (35) and Al Ray (28 not out) to win by eight wickets.

Cookley go to Lye in the league on Saturday (1pm start).

The seconds slumped to their third straight defeat by 80 runs.
