A SUPERB intelligent spell of bowling from Danny Soley ripped through Coombs Wood as they table-topping Cookley recorded an eight wicket win in Worcestershire Division Two.
Soley took six wickets for 46 runs as Wood were dismissed for 116.
Jaimen Rudd then top scored with 41 not out, well supported by Kheinan Morrissey (35) and Al Ray (28 not out) to win by eight wickets.
Cookley go to Lye in the league on Saturday (1pm start).
The seconds slumped to their third straight defeat by 80 runs.
Mike Wood (3-21) was the pick of the bowlers and a fine 58 from Will Morgan the one bright spot in a poor batting performance.
The thirds defeated Five Ways Old Edwardians by 79 runs.
Veteran John Martin turned back the years with his first century of the 21st century exactly 100 not out to help set 192 .
Super Veteran Chris Taylor then bedazzled Old Es with 4-9 from his 12 overs, before 12 year old Lewis Plant took his first wickets in senior cricket to ensure a fine victory.
