YOUNG Gloves won nine medals at the KWON World Karate Championships in Solihull.
The club, which has classes in Wyre Foresr and Stourbrdge and boasts over 350 members, sent an eight strong squad.
There were golds for Greg Gowland and Harry Griffiths, while Sensei Justin Thomas, Joel Russello and Jake Allun Brunn bagged silvers.
There were also bronzes for Sensei Samatha Thomas, Ben Gowland and Sensei Nigel Gowland.
The tournament welcome fighters from European and a hosts of defending world champions.
Steve Powell, who is head of the World Karate Society, said: "Well done to Young Gloves Karate, who showed great spirit and very respectful competitors.
"I am looking forward to seeing more of your squad, and becoming a big force in the World Karate Society."
