JUNIOR FOOTBALL: Kidderminster Lions Youth U12s were celebrating after winning a fair play award from the Stourport Football League.
Two teams also attended Rock Sports’ five-a-side tournament where they found more success as they won the under-12s section and placed fourth as well.
There were some inspired performances from numerous players Cameron Drapier scoring a hat-trick on this debut and bagging another four in other matches.
Pierce Forrester saved four penalties in a shoot out to get his team through to the next round .
Ambrose Davies also made a number of key saves from one-on-one situations.
Alex Surridge said: “The boys of both teams played with passion and wanted to learn and succeed within football. Hopefully more silver ware to come next season.”
