STOURPORT thrashed sorry Malvern by 266 runs to keep the pressure on the top two in Division Two.

Batting first, the Wyre Forest side amassed a huge 382-3 from their 50 overs.

The innings centered around a stunning 204 not out from South African Kevin Renecke. Skipper Craig Siwicki provided excellent support with 91.

In reply, Malvern had no answer to the spin of Matt Delo whose 5 for 23 helped bowl out Malvern for 116 in the 33rd over.

This Saturday Stourport travel to Enville.

The seconds pursuit of the Division One title continued as they beat Netherton. Dave Pittaway’s off spin helped dismiss Netherton for 185 in the 47th over.
